algotrader Has anyone heard anything about silver import duty being reduced? There were some rumors last month but nothing happened. Current 15% duty is making silver expensive for industrial users and they are complaining.
algotrader Reply by: PolicyWatcher_Delhi No official news yet. Budget session will happen in Feb so maybe they will announce something then. But dont expect major reduction because government needs revenue. Maximum they might reduce 1-2% if at all.
