We produce good quality saffron in kashmir but struggle to find international buyers. Most business goes through middlemen who take huge margin. Does anyone here have experience in direct saffron export? What are the requirements and procedures?

Saffron export has good potential but you need proper certifications like spices board registration, FSSAI, phytosanitary certificate etc. Also buyers want consistency in quality and ability to supply regularly. Start with smaller quantities to build trust. Middle east and europe are good markets. I can guide you if you want, DM me.
