MCX trading timings extended or not?

I heard MCX was planning to extend trading hours to align with international markets. Has that happened yet? Currently evening session closes at 11:30pm which is too early. By that time US markets are just opening and lot of action happens after that.

Yes MCX extended trading hours for some commodities. Crude oil, natural gas, copper, zinc, lead, nickel now trade till 11:55pm. Gold and silver till 11:50pm. But full 24 hour trading is not approved yet by SEBI. There were some technical and risk management issues that need to be resolved first.

Even with current timings I am sleeping only 4-5 hours lol. If they make it 24 hours then people like me will trade whole night and ruin our health! But jokes aside, extended hours are definitely helpful to react to international market movements quickly.
