Subject: What is face value of MSEI shares?
Simple question - what is the face value per share of MSEI? I see different numbers on different sites. Some say ₹1, some say ₹5. Which is correct?

Metropolitan Stock Exchange face value is Rs.5. But in December 2024 fundraise equity shares were issued at face value of ₹1 per share with premium of ₹1. So total ₹2 per share to institutional investors. There might have been stock split or face value change, need to check latest annual report for confirmation.

This confusion itself shows how opaque unlisted market is. No proper information available anywhere. When company goes for IPO everything will be clear in RHP document. Till then we are all guessing based on limited information from different sources.
