nifty 50 weekly expiry day - Thursday of every week
nifty 50 monthly expiry day - last Thursday of every month

With the current revision, all expiries for Bank Nifty contracts will be on Wednesdays

Now we have almost daily one expiry. Traders are losing more money in these expiry rather than making as they tend to buy OTM contracts due to low price and eventually end up at Zero. So one should buy the right strike price contract be it CE or PE specially on expiry day.
